who live locally. On Saturday 11th February La Heredia residents and visitors had the opportunity to view and purchase original works of art.

The combination of the cruise port and the hotel and restaurant complex will give a boost to Marbella's tourism industry and be a source of employment for many.

In an interesting development today, 19th August 2011, the Spanish Government's Development Minister, José Blanco announced that the Spanish government has halved the purchase tax in Spain for newly built Spanish properties. The prevailing rate of purchase tax in Spain for new builds has been 8% but this has now been dropped to 4%.
This temporary reduction in tax will run until the end of 2011 and will stimulate sales on new property and boost the Spanish economy.
Meanwhile, purchase tax in Spain for re-sale properties in Spain will remain at 7%

British Airways launched a flight from Docklands to Malaga on Wednesday 8th June, operated by BA CityFlyer on the new Embraer 170 and 190 aircraft. This is a year round service operating four days each week, on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Over 150 people attended the grand opening where they enjoyed traditional Spanish music as well as free tastings of top quality produce.
The new bakery has a large sunny terrace with seating for over 40 people as well as indoor seating area with Dutch TV
